We have made our home and established our business, Rafter CF Training Mule Company, on our 80 acre farm just southwest of Bedford, IA or northwest of Hopkins, MO. We enjoy riding, training, and spending time outside with each other and our dogs, Alex and Brumby. Our favorite time of year is when our foals and calves arrive. We sure do love to see the little ones grow up. We raise mules, donkeys and Black Simmental cattle. Chris trains several horses and mules each year, conducts clinics and we both enjoy helping out the local 4-H clubs, giving riding lessons and showing our mules. We have a breeding program that we've worked to perfect for several years and are proud to say that it has been very successful.

The first weekend of August we have our Annual Rafter CF Mule Show and Trail Challenge. We have really enjoyed making the weekend a fun, family event. On Saturday we have the mule show and on Sunday we have the trail challenge that is open to all equine breeds to compete. If you haven't attended this event put it on your calendar! It's a fun time to meet new mule folks and have a great time! See you in August!
